These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British Metropolitan Police Service blackened buttons (Queen Elizabeth II) as worn in service. The Metropolitan Police were formed in 1829 by Robert Peel and is today the largest Police force in the United Kingdom. This pair of cufflinks is made from two blackened and polished Metropolitan Police buttons. The cufflinks are made with a gun-metal swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel. They are made using smaller tunic buttons, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 18 mm in diameter.
This is a truly unique gift; the blackened buttons are cleaned and mounted to make a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury leatherette and velvet box and cardboard sleeve to make them the perfect present (a wooden box is available on request; please message me).
