This is a dynamic pair of elephant head solid back cufflinks. The high relief, three dimensional cufflinks are intricately detailed and the elephant has wide flowing ears and upward curved trunk.
This type of cufflink made between 1890s-1910s is called a solid ball back. It has a solid, non moving toggle attached with a curved connector. These are probably from the 1980s.
A nice size, the cufflinks measure 1 inch wide, 3/4 inch tall and 3/8 inch thick. The oval ball back is 1/2 inch wide and 1/4 inch tall. The space between the back and panel is 3/4 inch on top and 1/2 inch on the bottom.
The cufflinks are in very good vintage condition.
There are no identifying marks.
All items are carefully wrapped, placed in a new gift box and tied with curling ribbon.
