Vintage Japanese Damascene Silver Cuff Links & Tie Pin

A smart set of vintage damascene accessories that will undoubtably originate from Japan and date from around the mid-century. This set is well-made and has solid silver fixtures and fittings (marks are detailed below). The oxidised black metal plaques feature a traditional scene depicting Mount Fuji; each will have been skilfully etched and inlaid by hand. The set is in good, clean condition with light signs of wear only and will arrive ready to wear or gift.

Size / Length: The front of the cufflinks measures 1.3 cm, or ½ inch, square. The bar pin is approximately 4.2 cm, or 1 5/8 inches, in length.

Marks: The cufflinks and pin are stamped: ‘SILVER’ (mark on the pin is quite rubbed) and the cufflinks also have a Maker’s Mark consisting of Japanese characters.
