Collectable vintage 1937 chain linked cufflinks-hallmarked Chester England -9ct. front – maker H.G. & S – classic deco shape – super present

Wonderful collectable classic chain linked cufflinks.

Fully hallmarked for Chester 1937 with the makers initials.
Henry Griffiths & Sons family were in business from 1850.
They went into liquidation in 1912 but one of his sons Frederic
re instated the business under H.G. & S and hallmarks were
entered in Chester Assay Office in 1912 & 1937.These links
show the hallmarks from the later.From 1954 sadly closed
being a family business.
With 9ct. gold fronts & silver in a lovely classic deco shape.

Measuring:- 1.7cms. by 1.2cms. at widest points.

These cufflinks have been used but being quality links have
stood the test of time and offer further years of use.If one
requires perfection then these links are not for you. Although
the surface marks do not hinder their appeal – note are
enlarged with the photo close up images and do not do the
links justice.All chain links sound.

They remain quality cufflinks by a reputable maker and a
