Super authentic 40s pattern on this tie that depicts smal diamond shapes and squares that could only be described as appearing like little envelopes. The silk used is not the shiny variety nor are the dimensions like the bigger kipper ties of the period. As a result we’d say this one is applicable for more general use for someone who may not necessarily want to look too vintagey but appreciates bygone era quality and design that could never be found on Amazon.
