70s vintage pure silk neck tie made in Japan by Asakura for Kintetsu department store. Abstract flower print in blue tones. Mens necktie

From a collectors archive that was bought individually at the time in the 70s from the prestigious Kintetsu department store and retained until now. This remarkable tie is a genuine one off that could never be repeated. It has employed the textile fabrication techniques from the kimono industry by the Asakura company who specialised in those techniques and sold them via their A-look brand. The result is this exquisite floral effect.
Lightly used in very good condition.
From the vault of a wealthy Japanese gentleman who collected for posterity.
