Hand-made cute fluffy cat cufflinks with wonderful engraved detail and character.

I have hand made these cufflinks in my jewellery studio by creating a mold in my vacuum chamber of a lost, broken antique artefact. I then fill the unique mold using a technique called cold metal casting that uses a high concentration of brass powders in a polyester carrier. Once the item has cured, I then sand the layers back and polish the piece, grind the reverse and add cufflink backs.

The gothic cufflinks resemble the attributes of a brass stamping although is a 50/50 brass resin material as used in the creation of many bronze statues and art pieces. A sweet little novelty to adorn your formal or informal shirts.

The mold is made here at The Creaking Door studio and is not commercially available.
