On the sturdy silver plated cuff link base i have made my interpretation of the perfect koi fish pond, inspired by my own garden pond which is slightly bigger than this one !!Each pond measures approx 16mm in diameter. On each cuff link there are two beautiful koi fish basking in the sun and i have created them with mica powders so that they glitter and flash the same as the real fish.The pond is surrounded by tiny weather worn stones (these can vary in shape and size from the photo, as can the ornamental grasses, lily pads and color of the fish but every pair is as beautiful as the pictured one) and tiny little tufts of ornamental grass sprouts from between them.There are also a few lily pads on the surface of the water (which i have created to look like real water) that the fish love to lie under for shade.A really beautiful pair of cuff links that takes quite a while to make but i think the effort is truly worth it as these will definitely make you smile and feel as relaxed looking at it as i do looking at the real one!
