This modern handmade tie pin or tie tack features a sterling silver disk with a hammered surface on which I have set a beautiful labradorite gemstone in a fine silver bezel setting. The labradorite is excellent quality and glows from within. The sterling silver setting has been hand-cut in an organic shape, with the bezel sitting a little off center to ensure a modern feel.
This pin is 1/2 an inch at its widest (14mm), with 6mmlabradorite gemstones. The clutch mechanism you can see in the back is nickel plated brass, a durable material with a comfortable release mechanism in the clutch. Everything has been cut, soldered, textured and polished by hand, and each pin will be unique. These tie pins are a great gift anytime, but also work well for special occasions, for weddings, bridegrooms and groomsmen too!
