A thin rock section of Leucite was viewed by polarised light microscopy. This igneous lava rock contains leucite (dark grey) and colourful pyroxene crystals in a volcanic glass matrix.

Silver plated cufflinks with a glass dome. The image has been printed on glossy metal so that both the metal and the magnifying glass dome that covers it reflect light. This means that as you move the cufflinks the image has real depth and almost appears ‘alive’.

Cufflinks measure 18mm across (16mm glass dome) and 25mm deep (from the back of the swivel mount to the front of the glass dome) and come in a gift box complete with a description of the image.
