Item: VINTAGE – 9CT GOLD AND SILVER OVAL ENGINE TURNED CUFFLINKS.

Metal / Mark: 9ct Gold and Silver.

9ct Gold and Silver marks is commonly found on ‘Bonded Gold’ jewellery. These items are produced when a thick layer of gold is bonded to a sterling silver core (or occasionally a base metal). This means the item ordinarily contains about 10% gold by weight. This type of jewellery offers the genuine appearance of Gold but at a greatly reduced price.
