This tie is handmade with wild silk. It is processed from the cocons of wild butterflies which are allowed to flee the cocon before it is processed into silk. This yarn can be called a “cruelty-free silk”.
The tie is shorter and the knot bigger than with a normal tie. It’s perfect if you are looking for an old-school accessory.
The length is about 1m16.
Due to the thickness, simple knots are better.
The wild silk is very different from the other silk, it’s not shiny.
The label is made out of cork.
